Waitlist Privacy Policy

Effective September 10, 2026

This policy covers the E1O early-access waitlist and its messages. E1O is operated by Datost Inc. It does not describe data collected by future glasses hardware or software services.

What we collect

We collect the phone number you submit, your optional description of what you want E1O to do, and separate records of your verification-code, signup-confirmation, and marketing-invitation choices, including the consent wording version and time of the request, verification, message delivery, opt-out status, and invitation activity. We use request timestamps and information derived from your IP address to limit abuse. A necessary session cookie connects your verification code to your signup.

How we use it

When you submit a request, we also record the public page where your visit started, the referring website's domain when available, and campaign labels. This helps us understand which pages and referrals lead to early-access requests. A temporary browser-session record preserves this information as you move between pages. We do not save the referring page's full URL or its query parameters for this purpose.

We use this information to manage early-access requests, verify phone ownership when you request it, send a signup confirmation or early-access invitation only with your separate permission for that type, handle support and opt-outs, and protect the signup service. Your optional answer helps us understand interest in E1O. Please do not include sensitive personal information in that answer.

Service providers and sharing

We use service providers for hosting and private storage (Vercel) and message delivery (such as Twilio or AgentPhone). They process information needed to provide those services. We do not sell waitlist phone numbers or share mobile information, text-message opt-in data, or consent with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. Service providers may process that information solely to operate this waitlist and deliver its messages on our behalf. We may disclose information when legally required or to protect the service from abuse.

Your choices

Reply STOP to an E1O message to stop further waitlist texts. For help, reply HELP or email maceo@datost.com. You can request early access by email if you prefer not to consent to texts. You can also email us to request access to, correction of, or deletion of your waitlist information.

Retention and security

We retain records while managing your waitlist request and related access communications. When records are no longer needed, we delete them or remove identifying information. We may retain limited opt-out, consent, and security records to honor your preferences, prevent abuse, and meet legal obligations. Waitlist records are stored privately with access restricted to operating the service; no system can guarantee absolute security.
