Messaging Terms

E1O early-access messaging is operated by Datost Inc. These terms apply to the waitlist messaging program.

Verification and optional updates

Selecting “Join & text me a code” requests an automated, one-time SMS verification code from E1O (Datost Inc.). A code expires after 10 minutes. Resend requests another code. Requesting or entering a code does not subscribe you to marketing messages.

One separate, optional checkbox asks permission for automated texts about your E1O waitlist status and E1O product updates, including early-access news and invitations. This program includes marketing. The checkbox starts unchecked. Message frequency varies. We record this choice separately from your code request and require verified phone ownership before sending updates.

We are collecting preferences for this expanded updates program while provider review is pending. These broader messages are not yet being sent. Earlier subscribers retain only the message permissions they actually selected: requested codes, one signup confirmation, and/or at most one early-access invitation. Earlier permission for an invitation does not authorize product updates. The current signup confirms success on the website and does not send an additional signup-confirmation text.

Message and data rates may apply. Updates consent is not a condition of purchase or of joining the waitlist. No purchase is required. Joining does not guarantee an invitation, device, availability date, price, or a particular position. You must be authorized to use the number you provide. If you prefer no texts, request access by emailing maceo@datost.com.

Stop messages or get help

Reply STOP to unsubscribe. You may receive a final opt-out confirmation. Reply HELP for help or contact maceo@datost.com. START or UNSTOP removes a previous delivery block; it never adds a new permission or expands an earlier grant. To change preferences for an existing number, submit the form and verify ownership, or contact us for help.

Delivery and privacy

Delivery depends on your carrier, device, and messaging service. Messages can be delayed or undelivered; carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. The Waitlist Privacy Policy describes how we use your number and consent records. We do not sell or share text-message opt-in data or consent for third-party marketing.
