Does Even G2 have a camera?

No. Even Realities describes G2 as camera-free, with an integrated microphone for input. That makes it a different starting point from glasses whose main purpose includes taking photographs or video.

Camera-free answers one concrete question

We like the clarity of naming the missing input rather than treating all smart glasses as the same category. A microphone can still be relevant to the app, and a companion can still process or retain information. The absence of a camera should not be stretched into claims about every part of the data flow.

If your task is to ask about something visible, establish how the system receives that context. A camera-free frame cannot capture a frame-mounted image of it. For tasks such as reading a short cue, that imaging input may be unnecessary in the first place.
