How should I test a world-placed object on Spectacles?

Place it beside a recognizable physical reference, move around it, look away and return. Observe whether it stays where the task expects it to be and how the experience recovers when tracking becomes uncertain.

Make drift visible enough to describe

Use a simple object rather than a visually complex scene. If its relationship to a real reference changes, you can describe the direction and circumstances of that change. A moving animation can make the same issue harder to distinguish from intended motion.

Repeat in another ordinary environment and record what differs. Do not combine every failure under tracking is bad: placement, scale and recovery can fail independently. A report that identifies the behavior and context gives the next developer something specific to investigate.
