What makes a good first spatial app for Spectacles?

One object and one useful interaction are enough. Show where the object appears, let the wearer select it and provide an obvious exit. This gives you a complete spatial interaction without hiding its problems behind a larger application.

Keep the first question about space

We would initially avoid remote requests so an empty or misplaced object has a small set of possible causes. Work on placement, apparent size and input feedback. Once the object is easy to use, add the service that supplies its content.

A sample note beside a physical reference can be a useful exercise. The wearer selects it, sees a short detail and dismisses it. This lets you discuss whether the object is reachable and understandable, rather than spending the first demo explaining account setup or network availability.
