Can an indicator light prove what smart glasses are recording?
A light can communicate a documented state, such as camera capture. It cannot by itself explain every sensor, background process or storage decision. Interpret it using the feature's documentation.
Indicators have specific meanings
Distinguish a light aimed at the wearer from one aimed at nearby people. Power, listening and recording signals can serve different purposes. An unlit indicator means only what the documented behavior says it means; it is not a general audit of the whole application.
If someone asks whether a conversation is being saved, the answer should come from the active feature and its settings. Pointing to a light may help explain the current state, but it cannot establish whether a transcript remains in a phone account afterward.
