No. A camera-free design can still use remote services through its companion phone. Where processing runs is a software and architecture question, independent of whether the frame contains a camera.
Follow the information, not the appearance of the frame
A spoken request may travel from a microphone to a phone and then to a service before a result returns to the display. Label those stages when describing an assistant. The fact that the final answer is visible only to the wearer does not establish where it was computed.
A saved local note and a newly fetched email can follow different routes in the same app. Ask about the feature you intend to use and the information it needs. This avoids turning a useful hardware choice into an unsupported promise about every connected service.
