Yes. A spoken response can be heard by someone nearby, and even a partial detail may matter. Output choice should take the situation and the information into account.
Choose the amount of detail before speaking it
We would keep sensitive notification content behind an intentional action and offer a concise initial cue. A sender name or account detail may be unnecessary when all the wearer needs to know is that a message arrived. A display can offer another output, but it still needs suitable content and controls.
Imagine an assistant reading an email subject aloud during a meeting. The response can be technically correct and still be inappropriate for the moment. A more useful design lets the wearer choose whether to hear, read or defer the detail instead of assuming every successful request should immediately become speech.
