Why does a smart-glasses feature work on one phone but not another?
The phones may differ in supported interfaces, operating-system behavior, permissions or app configuration. The same product name and paired-device status do not establish the same execution environment.
Keep one side of the comparison fixed
Use the same glasses, app task and content while recording the phone and software differences. Otherwise a changed cable, account or firmware can be mistaken for a phone problem. The aim is to identify the smallest difference associated with the failure.
A useful report includes the last stage that works on both phones and the first stage that differs. For example, both can discover the frame but only one completes a background request. That is much more actionable than saying one phone is compatible and the other is not.
