Does Bluetooth give smart glasses internet access?
Bluetooth supplies a local link. An app can use a connected phone's internet connection to reach a remote service, but the Bluetooth connection itself is not an internet subscription or proof that the remote request succeeded.
Draw the two links separately
The path can be glasses to phone, then phone to service. The first link may remain healthy when the second fails. Show those states separately in an app so the wearer can understand why a local control still works while a fresh online answer does not.
If a short local card reaches the display but a new calendar request fails, the device link may be fine. Investigate the phone's service access and connectivity before re-pairing the glasses. This simple separation can save a lot of unnecessary resetting.
