How should I test walking navigation in smart glasses?
Start on a familiar, low-risk walking route with a conventional backup and, where useful, another person observing. Include a closely spaced junction, a missed turn and a brief connection interruption. Those moments reveal more than following a single straight path.
Measure timing and recovery together
A readable instruction is useful only if it arrives with enough context to act on it. Note whether the cue appears too early or late, whether the intended junction is clear and how the app recovers after a deviation. Keep attention on the surroundings while making these observations.
