Can one pair of smart glasses do everything?
Some glasses combine cameras, audio and displays, but combining hardware does not guarantee that every feature works well together. The deciding issue is often which task gets awkward when another is active.
Choose the compromise you will actually notice
We would rank the jobs you repeat, then consider the tradeoffs around those jobs. Someone recording repairs may accept a camera-focused workflow that would be unnecessary for someone reading quiet conversation cues. Someone using a virtual monitor may accept a cable that would get in the way during errands. A longer feature list cannot choose those priorities for you.
Write two ordinary situations, such as "follow directions outside" and "read a private message in a meeting." For each, identify the output, control and connected device required. A product that handles your frequent situations smoothly can be a better fit than one with more capabilities you rarely use.
