What are camera smart glasses?
Camera smart glasses capture images from a camera mounted on the frame. Ray-Ban Meta is a familiar example. Their distinctive benefit is a hands-free viewpoint; whether they also provide a screen or spoken assistant is a separate question.
A photograph needs a complete workflow
The camera faces roughly where the frame points, which is not necessarily the precise object your eyes are looking at. Capturing something useful also involves framing, starting and stopping, saving the file and finding it afterward. We would judge that whole sequence before treating hands-free capture as more convenient than taking out a phone.
A bike-repair clip illustrates the difference. Keeping both hands on the repair is useful, but the important detail may sit below the camera's view. A short practice recording can reveal the framing problem. A promotional picture of someone wearing glasses cannot tell you what the resulting footage contains.
