How do I tell Bluetooth trouble from internet trouble?
Test a supported local operation separately from a request that needs a remote service. The glasses-to-phone link and the phone-to-service link can fail independently. A local success does not prove internet access, and an online failure does not prove Bluetooth failure.
Build a two-stage check
We would first send a small fixed card or use another documented local action. Then request fresh information from the connected service. Keep the expected results distinct so a cached answer does not accidentally count as an online success.
If the fixed card appears but new service content does not, examine account authorization, network access and service status. If the fixed card also fails, return to the device session. This order avoids re-pairing a functioning peripheral because an unrelated remote endpoint is unavailable.
