Can Meta Ray-Ban Display show walking directions?
Yes. It supports a walking map and directions. Coverage needs careful reading: Meta announced expansion to every US city in May 2026, while Ray-Ban's FAQ still describes a selected-city beta. The conflicting wording is worth resolving for your destination.
Coverage and navigation mode are separate questions
Use the current Maps feature and account to verify the place you need, rather than treating an announcement as evidence for every account or country. Ray-Ban also documents phone location permissions for navigation. A map appearing on the glasses does not make the phone's location role disappear.
Before relying on a route, establish that its destination is available and that the feature is intended for walking. Neither a US expansion announcement nor a pedestrian demonstration establishes driving support. Keep a way to consult the full route when a turn or location looks ambiguous.
