What does Meta Neural Band do?
Meta Neural Band uses surface electromyography, or EMG, to turn muscle signals at the wrist into controls for Meta Ray-Ban Display. It recognizes small movements associated with actions such as selecting and scrolling. It does not read thoughts.
Judge it as a control you will repeat
The interesting question is how easily you complete a whole interaction. Open an item, move through it and return, then deliberately recover from a wrong selection. The glasses also provide a touchpad, so the band should be compared with another available control rather than only with having no control at all.
Imagine dismissing a card while carrying something in the other hand. A small gesture may be useful if it is dependable in that posture. One impressive selection during a demonstration is less informative than repeated actions, accidental inputs and how quickly you regain control afterward.
