Separate capture from connected services

Put the requirements in three columns: phone nearby, app connected and internet available. A successful photograph with the phone absent establishes local capture. It does not establish that a new AI request, message or phone-supplied audio will work in the same conditions.

For a day out, decide whether you mainly want to record clips or use connected services. The first question is where captures are stored and how you retrieve them later. The second is which phone and internet connections the feature needs. "Works without a phone" is too broad unless it names the operation.
