What changed in Ray-Ban Meta Gen 2?
Meta's Gen 2 announcement highlights 3K video and up to eight hours of typical use per charge. Those are manufacturer specifications, not measurements from an E1O trial. Gen 2 remains a camera-and-audio product rather than the separate Display model.
An upgrade should improve your own workload
The battery claim is useful context, but the benefit you notice depends on what you do. Recording, listening and making requests are different workloads. Compare the same recurring task on each generation before deciding that a headline improvement solves a practical limitation.
If short video clips are your main use, examine capture quality and the effort of importing them. If you mainly listen throughout the day, the charging routine may matter more. An older review can still explain the general experience, but it should not supply Gen 2's specifications without checking the generation.
