Do smart-glasses microphones capture everyone in a meeting equally?
Not necessarily. Microphone position, processing, speaker distance and room sound affect which voices are clear. A microphone near the wearer may capture the wearer's words well while struggling with someone across a table. Recording audio successfully does not establish that every participant is intelligible.
Listen for missing words, not just missing sound
Quiet speech, overlapping voices and a room's echo can make an action item difficult to interpret even when the recording sounds generally acceptable. Speaker identification is another separate task; clear words do not guarantee that software attributes them to the right person.
Use a staged discussion in the seating arrangement you expect. Have each participant say a short phrase containing a name and number, then compare the results. Investigate position and capture quality before treating every transcript error as a language-model problem.
