Which smart-glasses category suits everyday prompts?
Short visible prompts usually need a readable display and simple controls. Spoken prompts need audio. Neither task inherently requires an application to map the room or place virtual objects on surfaces.
Keep the interaction small enough to finish
Our preference for everyday cues is to show what helps the next action and make dismissal easy. A reminder that needs several screens of explanation has probably outgrown the glance. More capable hardware can still be useful, but the application should not demand a complex interaction merely because it can.
