How should I rehearse with teleprompter glasses before a presentation?

Rehearse the presentation with the actual script, glasses and controls you plan to use. Include an audience question, a skipped sentence and a moment where you need to go backward. These events show whether the teleprompter supports speaking naturally when the prepared sequence changes.

Practice finding your place

A perfect read-through mainly demonstrates that the text can advance. A useful rehearsal shows how quickly you can recover from losing your place and whether the controls distract you. Include your normal posture and movements because a comfortable seated reading test may not resemble a standing presentation.

Our rehearsal notes would record where the speaker hesitated, which control was needed and whether the next cue was clear. Shortening a difficult passage may improve delivery more than changing scroll speed across the entire document.
