Is reading Twitch chat in glasses the same as livestreaming from them?
No. Reading chat sends incoming messages to a display in the glasses. Livestreaming sends captured video or audio outward to an audience. Those are separate capabilities with different hardware, software and authorization requirements. Support for one does not imply support for the other.
Follow the direction of the information
A camera-free display can show a chat feed because the content comes from a connected service. Camera glasses can capture video yet lack a lens display for reading messages. This is why a broadcasting feature and a chat-reading interface should not be compared as though they solve the same problem.
