Should every Twitch chat message appear in smart glasses?
For a busy channel, showing every message can create a stream the wearer cannot read in time. A selected feed is usually more useful: direct mentions, moderator messages or another clearly defined subset can receive priority while ordinary messages remain on the main chat surface.
Make selection understandable
Filtering changes what the streamer sees, so the interface should say that it is showing a selected feed. A missing message should not look like proof that chat is quiet. The right selection depends on whether the streamer is answering questions, monitoring moderation or checking reactions between other activities.
Our starting design would prioritize messages that call for a response and let the wearer pause the feed. That is an editorial recommendation for the interface, not a claim that one filter fits every community or that every message should interrupt the stream.
