How is eyebox different from field of view?
Field of view describes the angular size of the display image. Eyebox describes the region where the eye can receive that image. One is about the picture's extent; the other is about viewing position.
Draw two different shapes
We suggest sketching an angular cone for the picture and a small viewing region near the eye. The first explains how large the image appears. The second explains why frame position can change whether the whole image is visible. Combining them into a single specification loses that distinction.
If text is too small even when the whole picture is visible, image scale or layout may be relevant. If a corner disappears as the frame moves, viewing position becomes relevant. These observations do not fully diagnose the optics, but they help you ask a supplier a much more specific question.
